More photos from our walk around Lübeck... The statue (left) commemorates Henry the Lion, Duke of Saxony, who was the founder of Munich (1157) and Lübeck (1159). Top right is the Palace of Rantzau built in the new Gothic Style in 1858 for Count Rantzau.
